Pilates is a form of body conditioning that was invented by German born Joseph Pilates who while living in England, working as a circus performer and boxer, was placed in forced internment camp at the outbreak of WWI. Pilates is all about the detail, all the movements are performed with precision. It can help improve all sports and activities by increasing full body & core strength, body awareness, flexibility, joint & spinal isolation, mobilization and strength.
